Off Grid Node Technologies Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") operates prepd.shop and offgridnode.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and BC PIPA).

What we collect

Email sign-up

When you subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your email address. We use MailerLite to store and manage subscriber data. MailerLite's servers are located in the EU and comply with GDPR. We collect your email solely to send product updates, launch notifications, and occasional educational content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Orders and payments

When you purchase a product, we collect your name, shipping address, and email for order fulfillment. Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data handling.

Contact forms

If you contact us through our support or wholesale inquiry forms (powered by Formspree), we collect the information you provide (name, email, message). We use this only to respond to your inquiry.

Transactional email

We use Resend to send order confirmations and shipping notifications. Your email and name are shared with Resend solely for delivery of these messages.

What we do not collect

• No analytics or tracking scripts run on this website
• No cookies are set by prepd.shop (third-party services may set their own)
• The PREPD device itself collects zero data: no telemetry, no usage tracking, no phone-home capability

How we use your information

• To fulfill and ship your order
• To send product updates you subscribed to
• To respond to support inquiries
• To send order confirmations and shipping notifications

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data retention

We retain order records for 7 years to comply with Canadian tax law. Mailing list data is retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months, then deleted.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Stripe (payment processing, United States)
• MailerLite (email marketing, European Union)
• Resend (transactional email, United States)
• Formspree (contact forms, United States)
• Cloudflare (DNS and content delivery, global)

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. Data may be processed outside Canada in accordance with their respective data handling practices.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA and BC PIPA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Withdraw consent (unsubscribe from emails at any time)

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
