PREPD ships with pre-loaded content from openly licensed knowledge sources — 60 GB on Standard, 150 GB on Pro. We do not create this content. We curate, package, and distribute it in accordance with each source’s original licence. All credit belongs to the original authors and communities.
Content is delivered in ZIM format and served by Kiwix, an open-source offline content reader.

Curated topic bundles from the ZimGit project:
ZimGit content is sourced from various openly licensed materials compiled by the openZIM project.
PREPD is built on open-source software including Raspberry Pi OS, Kiwix, nginx, dnsmasq, and hostapd. For the full software component list, licence details, and our GPL source code offer, see the Open Source page on offgridnode.com.
PREPD exists because of the global community of contributors, editors, and volunteers who build and maintain these knowledge libraries. Every Wikipedia editor, every Stack Exchange contributor, every Project Gutenberg volunteer, every open-source developer: you make offline knowledge possible. Thank you.
