We live in British Columbia, on the edge of the Cascadia Subduction Zone, surrounded by wildfire country, and no stranger to winter storms that knock out power for days. We've sat in the dark with dead phones, no internet, and no way to look up the information we needed.
After one too many outages, we asked ourselves: why is all the knowledge we'd need in an emergency locked behind an internet connection that fails exactly when we need it?
PREPD is our answer. A device the size of a thumb drive that creates its own Wi-Fi hotspot and serves a curated library of offline references (first aid, water purification, maps, repair guides, and more) to any phone, tablet, or laptop within range. No internet, no accounts, no subscription required. It just works.
Our goal is simple: best-in-class quality at lowest-in-class pricing. We don't cut corners on the product. We cut them on the middlemen, the unnecessary packaging, and the marketing fluff.
We're a small, family-run operation based in British Columbia. Every PREPD is assembled and tested by hand before it ships. If we need it here, chances are you need it too.
